Retail Store Manager

Job Overview

Results-driven, tech-savvy Retail Store Manager with 5+ years of progressive leadership in consumer electronics retail, buy-sell-trade operations.

Proven track record in maximizing gross profit margins through disciplined device appraisal, rapid inventory turnover, and multi-channel liquidation (Shopify POS, eBay, Amazon).

Deep expertise in hardware diagnostics (smartphones, tablets, laptops, gaming consoles).

Adept at recruiting, coaching, and motivating high-performing teams to surpass revenue targets while maintaining near-zero inventory shrink.

Recruit, onboard, and train a team of 3 to 6 retail associates and testing technicians.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise retail staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating team members to ensure high performance and engagement.
• Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining a welcoming store atmosphere.
• Manage multi-channel liquidation strategies, balancing in-store display merchandising with e-commerce listings on Shopify and eBay
• Daily banking requirements.
• Oversee the intake, diagnostic testing, and appraisal of 50+ consumer devices daily (smartphones, MacBooks, custom PCs, gaming rigs, smart home tech), ensuring accurate customer payouts and optimal resale spreads.

Experience

• Proven management experience in the retail industry with a focus on sales team supervision and operational oversight.
• Demonstrated ability in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding new employees, and employee orientation programs.
• Strong background in retail math including budgeting, pricing strategies, sales analysis, and basic financial calculations.
• Experience with POS systems, inventory management software, bookkeeping practices, and cash handling procedures.
• Prior experience in retail is required.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
