Retail Store Manager

Duties

• Lead and supervise store staff, including recruiting, training, developing, and evaluating team members to ensure high performance and engagement
• Manage daily store operations, including cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) systems, inventory control, and merchandising strategies
• Implement effective pricing strategies and oversee purchasing decisions to maximize profitability while maintaining competitive offerings
• Monitor sales performance, analyze sales data, and develop action plans to meet or exceed sales targets
• Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries promptly and resolving issues efficiently
• Oversee payroll processing, budgeting, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks to maintain accurate financial records
• Coordinate marketing initiatives and promotional activities to attract new customers and retain existing ones
• Maintain organized store environment through effective time management, organizational skills, and adherence to safety protocols

Qualifications

• Proven supervising or management experience within retail environments with a strong background in retail sales and store management
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and build strong customer relationships
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively
• Demonstrated proficiency in negotiation, merchandising, pricing strategies, and sales management techniques
• Strong organizational skills with experience in bookkeeping, payroll processing, budgeting, and administrative tasks
• Knowledge of POS systems, cashiering procedures, phone etiquette, and marketing principles
• Ability to handle cash responsibly with accuracy in cash handling procedures
• Experience in recruiting, interviewing, training & development of staff is preferred
• Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: From $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30.0 per week
