Duties

• Supervise daily store operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company policies
• Lead, motivate, and develop retail staff through effective training, coaching, and performance management
• Oversee inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales potential
• Manage cash handling procedures, POS (Point of Sale) systems, and cashiering activities with accuracy and integrity
• Coordinate purchasing activities, pricing strategies, and promotional displays to enhance customer experience
• Conduct employee interviews, onboarding sessions, and ongoing training to build a high-performing team
• Monitor sales targets and operational metrics to identify opportunities for growth and improvement

Requirements

• Proven supervisory experience within the retail industry or related sales environment
• Strong management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and foster a positive work culture
• Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are a plus
• Demonstrated expertise in inventory management, POS systems, and cash handling procedures
• Proficiency in retail math, budgeting, bookkeeping, and basic financial analysis
• Ability to handle negotiations with vendors or suppliers confidently
• Experience in recruiting, employee orientation, training & development, and performance evaluation
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Knowledge of retail industry sales techniques, merchandising standards, and operational management principles
• Exceptional customer service skills with phone etiquette and conflict resolution abilities
