Retail Supervisor

About the Position

We are seeking a responsible and customer-focused Retail Supervisor to oversee daily retail operations and ensure a high standard of customer service.

The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting store performance, guiding customers in selecting suitable healthcare products, and ensuring a professional and well-organised retail environment. Candidates with retail, healthcare, medical device, or pharmacy experience are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing, cleanliness, product displays, and overall store readiness.
• Ensure the showroom and product experience areas are safe, organised, and maintained to a high standard.
• Monitor inventory and maintain accurate stock-in and stock-out records.
• Introduce and explain electric wheelchairs, mobility aids, and related medical equipment to customers.
• Assist customers with product trials and demonstrate proper and safe product usage.
• Provide clear, patient, and professional advice to elderly customers, caregivers, and family members.
• Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and service concerns professionally and provide appropriate solutions.
• Assist in training, guiding, and supervising retail staff when required.
• Monitor sales performance and provide regular sales and customer feedback reports to Management.
• Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products based on their requirements.
• Contribute ideas and practical solutions to improve customer experience, store operations, and sales performance.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by Management.

Requirements

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Retail Management, Business Administration, Healthcare, Pharmacy, Medical-related studies, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in retail, healthcare retail, medical devices, pharmacy, or a related industry.
• Candidates with experience as a Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, Retail Supervisor, or similar position are encouraged to apply.
• Willingness to learn and develop knowledge of medical equipment and healthcare products.
• Proficient in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Melayu.
• Basic computer skills, including the ability to manage basic sales, inventory, and administrative records.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, professional, and comfortable assisting elderly customers and caregivers.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Responsible, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
