About the role

Foster & Co is a family-owned jewellery business with an in-store manufacturing workshop, where personal service and quality craftsmanship are at the heart of what we do. This is a casual opportunity with potential to progress into a permanent position for the right person. You'll help customers celebrate life's special moments by guiding them through jewellery and gift choices with confidence and care.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers and ask thoughtful questions to understand their needs
• Guide customers through jewellery and gift choices with confidence and care
• Work towards individual and team sales targets
• Assist with repair and custom jewellery enquiries, supported by our workshop team
• Follow up enquiries and help turn interest into purchases
• Maintain beautiful displays and high store presentation standards
• Assist with transactions, stock handling and everyday store operations

About you

• A warm, professional manner and strong communication skills
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
• Reliability, attention to detail and pride in your presentation
• The ability to work collaboratively in a busy retail environment
• Saturday availability is essential, along with availability during peak trading periods, including Christmas
• Previous retail or sales experience is preferred
• Jewellery experience is welcome, but a strong customer focus and willingness to learn matter too
