Job Overview

The primary responsibility of a cashier is to work efficiently on the retail sales floor at the SVDP Plymouth Store. This position is casual part-time and typically scheduled Monday through Friday from approximately 4-7 pm and/or every other weekend. Shifts are planned in advance with some flexibility.

Position Description

This position includes customer service, cashiering and stocking/ maintaining the sales floor. This is a moderately paced, friendly environment. The person selected for this position is expected to be accountable to the guidelines which support the purpose and mission of SVDP. Presenting positive customer and team interactions is essential.

Qualifications

• Positive customer interaction/disposition is required
• Prior cashiering and/or customer service is preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to handle customer concerns in a professional manner is required
• Demonstration of safe business practices is mandatory
• Ability to confidently identify and communicate ways to improve processes and/or services
• Willingness to take initiative

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $12.50 per hour
