Retirement Plan Associate

Join our team and play a key role in supporting retirement plan administration and compliance activities for a portfolio of small to medium-sized clients. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in retirement plan operations, regulatory compliance, and client support within the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review year-end compliance reports to ensure retirement plans meet regulatory and client requirements.
• Perform annual compliance testing, including ADP/ACP, Top Heavy, 410(b), 415, 401(a)(4), deductibility, and 402(g) testing.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of participant information, plan contributions, transactions, account balances, and eligibility data.
• Support participant account administration by monitoring plan activities and ensuring data integrity.
• Respond to internal and cross-functional inquiries related to vesting calculations, loan balances, workflow processes, auditor requests, and lost earnings calculations.
• Prepare employer contribution illustrations and related calculations for prospective and existing clients.
• Collaborate with team members and participate in departmental training programs to enhance technical knowledge and industry expertise.
• Contribute to special projects and other operational initiatives as assigned by management.
• Ensure strict adherence to company policies regarding data privacy, confidentiality, information security, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in a business related field.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to learn complex retirement plan regulations and compliance requirements
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to data confidentiality
• Amenable to work on night shift schedule
