Returns & Claims ExecuƟve - E-commerce

Roles and Responsibilities :

1. Returns Management

Monitor daily returns across all marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra)
Verify returned products for quality, quantity, and condition
Identify discrepancies such as damaged, missing, or wrong items
Coordinate with warehouse team for inwarding and stock reconciliation

2. Claims Management

Raise claims for damaged, missing, or customer-return fraud cases with marketplaces
Track claim status and follow up regularly until closure
Maintain proper documentation and proof (images, videos, invoices) for claims

3. Refund & Replacement Tracking

Ensure correct refunds/replacements are processed as per platform policies
Identify and flag incorrect deductions or penalties

4. Data Analysis & Reporting

Maintain daily/weekly reports on returns, claims, and recovery value
Analyze return reasons and suggest actions to reduce return rates
Highlight high-loss SKUs or recurring issues

5. Coordination

Work closely with warehouse, customer support, and account management teams
Liaise with marketplace support teams for issue resolution

Job Requirements :

• 1-3 years of experience in ecommerce operations or a similar field.
• Strong understanding of claims processing procedures and regulations.
• Proficiency in using Excel for data management and reporting purposes.
