Returns Associate

Job Responsibilities:

Work in a fast-paced e-commerce warehouse environment with a primary focus on customer returns, product testing, and recovery of returned inventory.

Test and inspect returned electronic products, including amplifiers and other electrical equipment, to determine functionality and condition.

Diagnose basic product issues and accurately identify whether returned merchandise is functional, defective, damaged, incomplete, or potentially fraudulently returned.

Grade returned products based on condition and prepare eligible merchandise for resale as Open Box inventory.

Photograph, document, repackage, label, and relist returned merchandise for sale.

Verify serial numbers, model numbers, accessories, and product condition against original order records to identify incorrect or fraudulent returns.

Document and dispute fraudulent returns, including wrong-item returns, serial-number mismatches, missing products, customer-damaged merchandise, and other return abuse.

Contact marketplaces, vendors, manufacturers, shipping carriers, and other business accounts to request credits or reimbursement for damaged and defective returned merchandise.

Maintain detailed records of returns, testing results, product disposition, credits, reimbursements, and disputes.

Assist with general warehouse operations as needed, including receiving, inventory organization, and shipping.

Qualifications / Skills:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Comfortable working with electronics and basic electrical testing equipment.

Strong computer skills and ability to learn inventory, marketplace, and shipping software.

Strong attention to detail, especially when verifying serial numbers and documenting product condition.

Good written communication skills for submitting claims, disputes, and reimbursement requests.

Ability to stay organized and independently manage multiple open returns and claims.

Previous experience with electronics, car audio, e-commerce returns, warehouse operations, or product testing is preferred but not required.

Training will be provided on our specific products, testing procedures, grading standards, and software.

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
