Returns Operative

Job Summary

Rioz Global runs the warehouse behind fashion, apparel and footwear brands, some of them names you would recognise. From our 50,000 square foot site at Pease Pottage, we store our clients' stock and send their online orders to shoppers across the UK. Everything is scanned, everything has its place, and accuracy is what we sell.

When a shopper sends something back, you decide what happens next. You will receive returned parcels, check each item, grade it and either get it back on sale or send it to the right place. Get it right and the item is back on the shelf the same day, ready to sell again. It is detailed work, and it matters.

What you will do

• Open returned parcels and match each item to the original order
• Check every item for tags, marks, wear and damage against each brand's standard
• Grade items: back to stock, rework, repair, return to the brand or write-off
• Book every return accurately on our warehouse system
• Re-fold, re-bag and re-label items so they look new again
• Put stock back in the correct location, scanned every tim
• Flag anything that is not right: wrong items, empty parcels, missing pieces
• Help with picking, packing and goods in when returns are quieter

What we are looking for

• A careful eye: you notice a missing tag or a loose thread
• Honesty: you record what is actually in the parcel, every time
• Reliable attendance and good timekeeping
• Happy on your feet all shift, lifting and moving stock
• Comfortable with a steady, repeating routine
• Confident with a handheld scanner and basic computer use, or keen to learn

Pay: £13.00 per hour

Benefits:

• On-site parking

Work Location: In person
