Revenue Accountant

Curran Recruiting is partnering with a PE-backed SaaS company looking for a strong Revenue Accountant. The role is hybrid, reporting to the office in the Dunwoody area.

Role Responsibilities:

• Own SaaS revenue recognition and ASC 606 compliance.
• Review contracts and determine appropriate revenue treatment.
• Manage deferred/unbilled revenue and revenue-related accruals.
• Oversee sales commissions, payouts, and deferred commission schedules.
• Account for capitalized software costs under ASC 350-40.
• Own revenue-related month-end close, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Support audits and improve revenue and commission processes.

Role Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of Accounting experience
• 2+ years of Revenue Accounting experience
• Well versed with ASC 606 and/or recurring revenue environment

Nice to Have:

• ASC 350-40 experience
• NetSuite experience
