We are seeking a detail-orientedand proactive Revenue Analyst to join our Commercial Finance Team. Reporting to the Revenue Accounting Lead, the Revenue Analyst supports the accuracy of DAI's customer billing by owning ancillary billing — surcharges, accessorial and other secondary charges outside core freight rates. The role exists to ensure ancillary charges are billed correctly, consistently and on time.

Key responsibilities

Ancillary Billing Processing

• Process and prepare ancillary billing — surcharges, accessorial and other secondary charges — in line with approved rates and billing methodology.
• Apply correct charge codes and rates to ancillary billing items across DAI's billing systems.
• Ensure ancillary billing is completed accurately and within required timeframes.
• Maintain clear records and documentation for all ancillary billing processed.

Billing Accuracy & Query Resolution

• Identify and resolve straightforward ancillary billing discrepancies and errors.
• Respond to routine queries relating to ancillary charges, escalating complex or disputed items to the Revenue Accounting Lead.
• Support billing audit activity by preparing and checking ancillary billing data.
• Flag recurring or unusual ancillary billing issues to the Revenue Accounting Lead for investigation.

Support & Continuous Improvement

• Support the Revenue Accounting Lead with billing preparation, data checks and ad hoc analysis as required.
• Assist with preparing billing output for handover to Accounts Receivable.
• Contribute ideas to improve the accuracy and efficiency of ancillary billing processes.
• Build and maintain a strong working knowledge of DAI's billing systems, rate structures and ancillary charge types.

• Maintain integrity, accuracy and attention to detail in all areas of work.
• Contribute to a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and collaboration across the finance function.

Skills and qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of related experience in accounting or a relevant role
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related discipline (desirable)
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (desirable)
• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong ability to prioritise and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in Excel and finance systems
