Revenue & Distribution Assistant Manager

About the role

The Revenue & Distribution Assistant Manager is accountable for pricing, positioning and inventory management of all hotels within the portfolio. Oversees all processes associated with demand, revenue, inventory, forecasting and opportunity analysis. Identifies new revenue opportunities and effectively communicates sales strategy and pricing to all key stakeholders. Maintains productive relationships with stakeholders, including hotel General Managers, sales leaders, operations and finance.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse period end and other available systems data to identify trends, future need periods and obstacles to achieving goals
• Analyse and identify competitor set strengths and develop strategies to best capture available market share
• Optimise distribution channels and achieve optimal business mix
• Develop and manage e-commerce strategies
• Generate and provide accurate and timely results in the form of reports and presentations
• Conduct sales strategy analysis and refine as appropriate to increase market share for all properties
• Assist hotels with pricing and provide input on business evaluation recommendations
• Communicate brand initiatives, demand and market analysis to hotel leadership teams
• Ensure that sales strategies and rate restrictions are communicated, implemented and modified as market conditions fluctuate
• Lead project / new hotel activation
• Assist in annual budget and business plan
