Revenue & Project Controller

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Revenue & Project Controller to join an international aerospace and defence scale-up organisation . In this role, you will combine technical accounting expertise with hands-on project controlling, taking ownership of revenue recognition and project financial performance in a rapidly growing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end order-to-cash process, from contract review to invoicing and revenue recognition.
• Apply IFRS 15 in practice, assessing complex contracts, performance obligations, milestones and customer acceptance criteria.
• Take ownership of project controlling, including budgets, forecasts, cost-to-complete, margins and variance analysis.
• Monitor project costs and financial performance across development and production programmes.
• Partner with project managers and operational stakeholders to translate project progress into financial insights.
• Manage revenue- and project-related month-end and quarter-end closing activities.
• Maintain robust financial controls, audit documentation and reporting.
• Improve processes across revenue recognition, project accounting and financial reporting.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant finance and controlling experience.
• Hands-on experience applying IFRS 15 is essential. Theoretical knowledge alone is insufficient.
• Practical project controlling experience is essential , including budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking and margin analysis.
• Experience with complex, long-term contracts, preferably in aerospace, defence, engineering or manufacturing.
• Strong analytical skills, sound accounting judgement and excellent stakeholder management.
• Experience with Excel and ERP systems.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

A professional accounting qualification, such as CPA, ACCA, CA or RA, is preferred.

• €110,000-€140,000 gross annual salary.
