Revenue Controller - Washright Services Ltd

We are looking for a Revenue Controller who will be responsible for overseeing the commercial billing lifecycle, ensuring revenue completeness and accuracy, conducting robust reconciliations between operational delivery records and financial ledgers, maintaining tariff integrity, and upholding strong internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end commercial billing cycle, ensuring timely, accurate, and complete invoicing for all corporate and hospitality clients.
• Conduct regular reconciliations between physical delivery dockets, operational tracking systems, and the general ledger to prevent revenue leakages.
• Ensure billing rates and invoices strictly comply with commercial contracts, approved tariff schedules, and agreed indexations.
• Coordinate and reconcile intercompany billings and cross-charges across Group entities in collaboration with resort finance teams.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, piece-count variances, client queries, and credit note requests in a timely manner.
• Assist the finance team with debtor management, monitoring aged receivables and supporting timely collections.
• Ensure robust month-end revenue cut-offs, prepare monthly revenue reconciliations, and perform variance analysis against budgets.
• Enforce strong internal controls over revenue recognition, discard replacements, linen loss recoveries, and recycling dispositions.
• Assist internal and external auditors by providing revenue schedules, audit trails, and reconciliation documentation.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.

Profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified or working towards a qualification.
• Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in revenue control, billing audit, accounts receivable, or commercial accounting.
• Experience within hospitality, industrial services, logistics, or manufacturing is an advantage.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, revenue recognition, and internal control frameworks.
• Proficiency in financial ERP software (e.g., Oracle ERP) and advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy when working with figures.
• Proactive with strong problem-solving abilities and the confidence to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and ability to meet tight reporting deadlines.
