  • Build and maintain method to track individual orders from the initial manufacturer referral to shipment.

2. Claim Outcomes & Revenue Reporting

  • Establish the process for auditing DME distributor claims outcomes.
  • Audit weekly and monthly status reports from DME networks to cross-reference delivered products against actual insurance claim outcomes.
  • Develop and implement denial management strategies to reduce denials, improve first-pass yield, and accelerate cash flow.
  • Synthesize distributor feedback into actionable revenue reports, identifying payer trends, reimbursement performance, systemic denial trends and cash flow drivers to provide intelligence back to sales, market access and operations.

3. Manual Chargeback, Rebate, & System Auditing

  • Manually validate, process, and reconcile chargeback claims and administrative fee spreadsheets submitted by DME networks.
  • Audit distributor reconciliation to flag duplicate billing, incorrect contract rates, or unearned distributor
  • discounts.
  • Audit and reconcile all patient savings programs with distributor network.
  • Actively verify that distributors have manually loaded accurate manufacturer product identifiers and pricing tiers into their billing networks.

4. Process Building & Scaling Infrastructure

  • Build and maintain reimbursement reports, dashboards and forecasts, including collections, aging, denial rates, cash acceleration, and partner performance metrics.
  • Assist with building the company's standard operating procedures (SOP) “playbook” for distributor partnerships, including data ingestion and reporting.
  • Identify bottlenecks where manual trackers can be streamlined or automated.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience: 2–4 years of hands-on commercial, billing, or revenue operations experience within a DME or medical device setting. Startup or early-stage experience is highly valued.
  • Advanced Excel Skill (Non-Negotiable): Absolute mastery of manual data manipulation, including XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Power Query, Text-to-Columns, and clean data parsing. You must love building trackers from a blank sheet.
  • DME/Reimbursement Literacy: Practical familiarity with how DME distributors intake referrals, handle prior authorizations, bill and submit claims, and navigate insurance claims outcomes.
  • Problem-Solving Grit: A high tolerance for data ambiguity, messy spreadsheets, and missing information. Professional persistence to chase down distributors for status reports.
  • Communication: Ability to translate chaotic partner files into crisp revenue summaries for executive leadership and manage external partner adherence firmly.
