REVIT DRAFTSPERSON

About the role

The successful candidate will work across a diverse range of residential projects and will be responsible for producing accurate, high-quality documentation in accordance with Australian building requirements and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Produce high-quality residential working drawings and construction documentation using REVIT
• Prepare and amend drawings in accordance with client variations, engineering documentation, energy rating requirements and building regulations
• Review plans for compliance with relevant Australian requirements, including National Construction Code (NCC), ResCode, Small Lot Housing Code where applicable, Australian Standards, and local council requirements
• Coordinate architectural documentation with engineering and other consultant information
• Maintain consistency, accuracy and quality across all drawing sets
• Identify documentation issues and resolve discrepancies before drawings are issued
• Work collaboratively with the Kiara Designs team while managing assigned projects independently

About you

• Minimum 3+ years of residential drafting experience using Autodesk REVIT
• Australian Volume building drafting experience is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of residential construction and documentation
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, tasks and priorities
• Ability to work independently, manage workloads effectively and meet deadlines
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Good written and verbal English communication skills
• Reliable internet connection and own laptop/PC suitable for remote REVIT work
