Revit MEP Designer / Technician

Job Overview

Kilbryde Consulting Engineers (KCE) is looking for a full-time Revit MEP Designer / Technician to join our Mechanical and Electrical design team at our High Blantyre office.

The successful candidate will work closely with our Mechanical and Electrical engineers to produce coordinated M&E models, drawings and technical design information using Autodesk Revit.

Responsibilities will include:

• Producing Mechanical and Electrical building services models using Revit.
• Preparing coordinated M&E drawings, layouts and technical information.
• Working with engineers to develop designs from concept through to detailed design.
• Coordinating M&E services with architectural and structural models.
• Assisting with clash detection and coordination issues.
• Producing plans, sections, elevations and schedules.
• Updating models and drawings following design changes.
• Maintaining drawing standards, model accuracy and document control.
• Supporting the continued development of KCE's Revit and BIM standards.
• Providing AutoCAD support where required.

We are looking for someone with:

• Strong working knowledge of Autodesk Revit.
• Experience using Revit within MEP, building services or a similar technical environment.
• Experience producing coordinated technical drawings and models.
• An understanding of Mechanical and/or Electrical building services.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider engineering team.

Previous experience within an M&E consultancy or building services contractor would be advantageous.

This is a full-time, Monday to Friday, office-based role in High Blantyre.
