REVIT STRUCTURE DESIGNER

$85,000–$96,600 annually | Non-Exempt

We are looking for a skilled Revit Structure Designer to join our design and drafting team supporting the development of engineered, packaged equipment systems for complex industrial applications.

In this role, you will translate engineering intent, customer requirements, specifications, and manufacturing constraints into accurate 3D models, layouts, assemblies, and production-ready drawings . You will collaborate closely with designers, engineers, manufacturing, purchasing, and other departments to ensure designs are technically sound, manufacturable, and aligned with project requirements.

What You'll Do

• Interpret P&IDs, site layouts, equipment layouts, piping plans, process flow diagrams, specifications, BOMs, and general arrangement drawings .
• Create and maintain 3D models, structural layouts, assemblies, and detailed production drawings using Revit.
• Design and model pipe routing, skids, weldments, mating surfaces, extrusions, and library components .
• Produce layouts and section views with BOMs, callouts, dimensions, and other required details .
• Review specifications and scope documents to verify designs meet engineering intent and customer requirements.
• Support model reviews and execute design processes in accordance with established department standards.
• Maintain drafting schedules and ensure accurate, timely deliverables.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, production, purchasing, and other departments to resolve design and manufacturing requirements.
• Apply appropriate technical knowledge related to structural, mechanical, electrical, and controls systems.
• Support the development of production-level drawings with appropriate direction from senior designers and engineers.

What We're Looking For

• Experience designing in Revit , particularly with pipe routing, skids, and weldments.
• Experience with SolidWorks and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to develop package or plant layouts with an understanding of equipment clearances, maintenance requirements, operations, and material flow.
• Working knowledge of structural, mechanical, electrical, and controls design principles.
• Familiarity with industry codes and standards such as NEC, IEC, ASME, AISC, AWS, UMC, OSHA, and applicable building codes .
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality deliverables.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple departments.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Education

• High school diploma required
• Associate degree in a technical discipline, drafting, or graphic design is a plus.
