Rework Engineer/ Process Engineer

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering with 5+ years in process engineering and high-volume line planning, expertise in process chain development, PFA, Shainin, FMEA, 8D
• Drive and optimize rework and claim management processes, analyze defect parts, manage process chain interactions, and lead cost optimization workshops

Role & responsibilities

1. Purpose of the Position

Drive process engineering excellence for rework operations in eAxle manufacturing by developing and optimizing rework and claim management process

2. Key Responsibilities

• Definition and execution of reclaim processes within the manufacturing process
• Analysis defect parts, reclaim analysis
• Develop a deep understanding of process chain impact analysis.
• Identify and manage interactions within process chains for new products and process designs.
• Drive cost workshops with a strong focus on resource optimization and waste reduction

3. Skills & Competencies

• Resilience in daily pressure to release processes on time.
• Strong knowledge of process chain development, PFA (Process flow analysis), and assembly line design.
• Experience in high-volume line planning
• Experience with system CIP systematics
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (Shainin preferred), FMEA, 8D
• Excellent communication skills in English and ability to influence stakeholders.
• Willingness to relocate as per business needs.

4. Education

BE/B.Tech in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.

5. Experience

Minimum 5 years in process engineering , line planning within high-volume manufacturing, preferably in automotive or electrified powertrain sectors. Knowledge in rework is an added advantage
