RF Engineer

Job Summary:

Responsible for the design, testing, and validation of RF and microwave systems that drive core technologies; works closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative and reliable RF solutions for products and customers; contributes to engineering initiatives at the newly established branch in Singapore, driving technical excellence in RF system development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, simulate, and optimize RF and microwave circuits and subsystems (e.g., power amplifiers, filters, antennas, and matching networks).
• Conduct RF testing, validation, and troubleshooting using advanced test equipment such as vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.
• Develop and implement test procedures to ensure product performance and reliability.
• Analyze test data, prepare technical reports, and document design iterations.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and mechanical engineers to ensure system-level integration and performance compliance.
• Support prototype builds, system tuning, and root cause analysis for RF-related issues.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance design efficiency and test accuracy.
• Stay updated with emerging RF technologies, tools, and industry standards.

Key Requirements:

1.  Educational Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field.

2.  Work Experience

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in RF design, testing, or validation (fresh graduates with strong fundamentals are encouraged to apply).

3. Skillsets

• Strong understanding of RF and microwave engineering principles, including impedance matching, S-parameters, and signal propagation.
• Hands-on experience with RF simulation tools (e.g., Keysight ADS, Ansys HFSS, CST Microwave Studio, or equivalent).
• Proficient with RF measurement and characterization equipment (VNA, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, power meter, etc.).
• Experience in circuit layout, PCB design, or test automation is an advantage.
• Analytical, meticulous, and results-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

4.  Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of wireless communication standards (e.g., LTE, 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth) or radar systems.
