RF Engineer

The Recruiting Company: Our client is a European start-up specializing in electronic warfare and precision localization in the defense sector.

Key Points of the Position: Reporting to the CTO, you will play a key role in the development and optimization of advanced RF systems used in high-precision localization applications.

As an RF Engineer, your missions will include:

• Perform RF measurements and analyses, with a focus on 2.4 GHz systems
• Debug and optimize RF PCBs and circuits
• Contribute to the development and validation of UWB-based technologies
• Participate in RF design reviews and ensure compliance with CE certification requirements
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure system robustness and performance
• Apply a structured and methodical approach to testing and documentation

Necessary Skills:

• 5 years of experience in RF engineering and RF measurements, ideally around 2.4 GHz
• Solid understanding of RF principles and PCB debugging techniques
• Background in one or more of the following domains: UHF, BLE, WiFi, UWB (UWB experience strongly preferred)
• Familiarity with CE certification processes
• Structured and autonomous way of working
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• EU citizenship required (German or Austrian nationality preferred)

Salary: 80,000 - 90,000 euros gross annual
