Key Responsibilities
Network Performance Monitoring
- Analyze KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) such as signal strength, drop call rate, throughput, latency
- Use tools to monitor live network performance
Drive Testing & Data Collection
- Conduct field tests (drive/walk tests) to measure real-world signal quality
- Collect and log RF data using specialized tools (e.g., TEMS, Nemo, GENEX)
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Interpret collected data to identify issues (coverage gaps, interference, congestion)
- Prepare reports with insights and recommendations
Network Optimization
- Suggest parameter tuning (antenna tilt, power levels, handover thresholds)
- Work on improving coverage and capacity
Troubleshooting
- Investigate issues like dropped calls, poor signal, or slow data speeds
- Collaborate with planning and field teams
