Your Role

• RFID Standards to be deployed of each product category are different and should be aligned to global practices/standards
• Sometimes if encoding is wrong at fundamental level it could lead to further ripple effect
• Person should have hands on knowledge on ecosystem: TAG – ANTENNA – READER and APPLICATION
• Experience across encoding, reader, hard tag, soft tags, conversion of hard tags to soft tags, energy efficiency in the process, RSSR values, able to do to experimentations, use cases

Your Profile

• Back store warehouse replenishment could be one use case- some times handheld readers may read back store inventory – how can we put in algorithms to avoid this
• RFID UHF- global bets hardware across ecosystem can be arranged by Reliance – need experts who can help in integrating the ecosystem, testing etc
• 2000+ stores in apparel, 40 Distribution Centres, they have different hardware
• OEM will provide inputs on which tag will work on which hardware – but need SME level person to experiment and guide team
• SME should be able to understand and support Hard tag to soft tag – operational challenges - minimising the disruptions
• Huge amount of data is being generated – should be able to analyse and use the data for meaningful insights
