This position is hybrid and will require 3 days onsite/2 days remote, no exceptions. Candidates will also be required to have an onsite interview.

Seeking an experienced Rhapsody developer. You'll work closely with clinical, technical, and product teams to ensure seamless data interoperability between internal and third-party health systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate clinical and operational workflows into technical integration solutions
• Work with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Athena, Eclinical) to enable bi-directional data exchange
• Collaborate with DevOps teams on deployment and monitoring of integrations
• Ensure compliance with healthcare data standards and security (e.g., HIPAA)
• Support and optimize existing Rhapsody solutions used by NJIIS

Requirements:

• 3+ years software development experience in Rhapsody
• 2+ years healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR and HL7 v2) (nice to have)

Technical Skills:

• Strong experience with Rhapsody
• FHIR resources and HL7 v2 (nice to have)
• FHIR servers (HAPI FHIR, Firely, AWS FHIR APIs) (nice to have)

Nice to have:

• HL7 v2 and FHIR integration pipelines
• SOAP web services, SFTP clients, RESTful FHIR APIs
• RESTful API development
• JSON, XML, HL7 v2 parsing/generation
• Integration tools
• SQL (PostgreSQL/Oracle)
• SNOMED CT, LOINC, ICD-10
