𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲: Rheumatology Advisor

Fruit Street Health is seeking experienced Rheumatologists to serve as Rheumatology Advisors. This opportunity is ideal for physicians with expertise in autoimmune diseases, inflammatory arthritis, connective tissue disorders, osteoporosis, vasculitis, musculoskeletal medicine, value-based care, digital health, healthcare AI, or healthcare innovation.

As a Rheumatology Advisor, you will provide clinical, operational, and strategic guidance to help Fruit Street Health enhance its virtual care platform, chronic disease management programs, remote patient monitoring capabilities, and digital health initiatives. This flexible, remote advisory opportunity is designed for physicians who are passionate about improving access to rheumatologic care, patient outcomes, healthcare technology, and innovation.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

• Provide clinical and strategic guidance on virtual care programs related to rheumatology, autoimmune diseases, inflammatory arthritis, osteoporosis, musculoskeletal health, chronic disease management, remote patient monitoring, digital therapeutics, and healthcare AI.

• Advise Fruit Street Health on clinical workflows, patient engagement strategies, remote monitoring solutions, quality improvement initiatives, value-based care models, and evidence-based approaches for patients with chronic rheumatologic conditions.

• Offer expertise on patient care pathways, medication adherence, biologic therapies, lifestyle interventions, multidisciplinary care coordination, and opportunities to improve long-term outcomes through digital health technologies.

• Provide feedback on new products, clinical initiatives, educational content, artificial intelligence applications, and technology designed to support patients and healthcare providers managing rheumatologic diseases.

• Participate in periodic advisory meetings and contribute practical recommendations based on your clinical, operational, and leadership experience.

𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀

• MD or DO with experience practicing Rheumatology.

• Board certification or board eligibility in Rheumatology preferred.

• Experience managing autoimmune diseases, inflammatory arthritis, osteoporosis, lupus, vasculitis, connective tissue disorders, telemedicine, remote patient monitoring, digital health, healthcare AI, clinical leadership, or healthcare innovation preferred.

• Strong understanding of rheumatology clinical workflows, multidisciplinary care, chronic disease management, patient engagement, and technology adoption within specialty care.

• Ability to commit approximately 1–2 hours per month to advisory board participation and strategic advisory activities.
