As a 4K Teacher, you will create a vibrant classroom environment that promotes social-emotional skills, literacy, math readiness, and physical development, setting the foundation for lifelong learning.

Duties

• Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to early childhood development standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and social skills.
• Create an engaging classroom environment that supports child-centered learning through hands-on activities and play-based instruction.
• Monitor and assess each child's developmental progress using standardized testing tools and observational methods to inform instruction.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavior management strategies and classroom management techniques.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns to foster strong home-school partnerships.
• Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, lesson plans, and other documentation required for program accountability.

Experience

• Prior experience working with children in early childhood education settings such as daycare centers, preschools, or private schools.
• Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development tailored for preschool-aged children with an understanding of childhood development principles.
• Knowledge of special education needs and early intervention strategies to support diverse learners.
• Proven ability to manage classrooms effectively while fostering a safe and nurturing environment.
• Strong communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
• Experience implementing behavior management techniques and maintaining classroom discipline positively.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; ongoing professional development in early childhood education is highly valued.
