Technical Services is a dynamic team responsible for all elements of maintenance and projects across the resort to ensure the park and hotel are always operating safely and effectively. We are enthusiastic and motivated to deliver and improve the services we provide, while having a sense of fun that comes from working in Merlin Entertainments and LEGOLAND Shanghai Resort！ You will optimize systems for rides and other facilities within the park to enhance system and equipment safety, reliability, and operability. Ensure that services provided comply with local laws, regulations, and Merlin Group policies. Responsibilities include failure root cause analysis, equipment reliability analysis, technical training, reliability-related projects, equipment functional testing, commissioning, and validation.

This role requires excellent technical problem-solving skills. Be able to make planning and preparation for all modification project and reliability activities. Adhering to and promoting the HSS policies and quality standard of MERLIN Group. Main Responsibilities

• Health & Safety
• Ensure all work procedures comply with health and safety regulations and the policies of LLSHR.
• Participate in conducting risk assessments, identify potential hazards, and take measures to mitigate risks.
• Demonstrate preventive maintenance and timely diagnosis of faults to prevent accidents.
• Participate in setting up and implementing response plans for emergencies.
• Use personal protective equipment properly.
• Maintain health and safety records, including incident reports and safety inspection checklists.
• Technical
• Set up reliability analysis procedures and perform them effectively.
• Follow and comply with the safety procedures of LLSHR. Positively participate in the training by LLSHR. Keep the Facilities and its devices at a high level of reliability (under safety and compliance regulation) with complete ownership, for the safe and smooth operation of the resort, to provide excellent experience for our guests and employees.
• Safely conduct inspection, maintenance and repairing tasks in the field at the same time keep the working field safe and tidy.
• Lead the team technicians or contractors to carry out daily reliability-related work orders and strictly enforce to ensure all necessary safety measures are implemented.
• To ensure engineering department audits are carried out as per audit procedures.
• Assist other departments whenever required to support the smooth operation of the park.
• Participate in the park duty program. Be able to work on weekends, holidays, and night shifts as per business needs. Supervise the safety of maintenance/repair operations during the shift。
• Operation
• As a ride reliability engineer, plan and carry out reliability and temporary repair work. According to the ride equipment startup procedures, ensure that the safety inspection items before the equipment startup are effectively carried out. Guarantee the smooth handover of the ride equipment before opening.
• Analyze and enhance preventive maintenance and repair activities, develop appropriate performance monitoring and reliability analysis plans based on equipment conditions, and provide and implement reasonable technical solutions.
• Support her/his line managers to correct the findings from OURA and all other related departments and teams, ensure all operation and maintenance activities comply with local standards and Merlin’s safety policy. Report any deviation during operation.
• Provide technical support for the shutdown recovery, fault diagnosis, repair, technical analysis, testing, and startup of riding equipment, ensuring that the riding equipment can offer excellent and safe experience services to tourists and staff.
• Training
• Take the necessary health and safety training.
• Provide technical training on reliability for the riding team technicians and enhance the overall technical capabilities of the team. 任职资格: Job Requirements
• Working & Education Background
• Bachelor degree or above.
• 10+ years reliability analysis/ride maintenance and repair experience or related.
• Be familiar with FEMA, Vulnerability Analysis, RCM.
• Skills & Knowledge
• Be familiar with maintenance in Rides and Attractions.
• Be familiar with MS office.
• Experience in Rides & Attractions is preferred.
• Familiar with CMMS or EAM system are preferred.
