Key responsibilities

• Collect packages and parcels from designated pick-up points and deliver them to the specified destinations in a timely manner
• Operate and maintain delivery vehicles in good working condition, conducting routine checks and reporting any mechanical issues
• Navigate through traffic and various routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules and deadlines
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures, timestamps and any special delivery instructions
• Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner, addressing any delivery-related queries or concerns
• Ensure all packages are handled with care and delivered in pristine condition
• Follow all traffic regulations and company safety protocols whilst operating vehicles
• Coordinate with dispatch teams to optimise delivery routes and maximise efficiency
• Report any incidents, accidents or damages immediately to management

What we're looking for

• Valid driver's licence appropriate for the type of vehicle being operated
• Proven experience as a delivery rider or in a similar courier/logistics role
• Strong knowledge of local roads, traffic patterns and geographical areas within Metro Manila
• Excellent time management and organisational skills to meet delivery schedules
• Physical fitness and ability to handle packages of varying weights and sizes
• Outstanding customer service skills and professional communication abilities
• Reliability and punctuality with a strong commitment to attendance
• Ability to work independently whilst following company guidelines and procedures
• A clean driving record and adherence to traffic and safety regulations
• Basic mechanical knowledge to perform vehicle maintenance checks
• Preferably with experience using GPS navigation systems and delivery tracking software
