Riding School yard manager

Overview

This energetic role is perfect for someone passionate about horses, management, and maintaining a safe, efficient environment for both riders and staff. You will be responsible for supervising yard activities, ensuring the smooth running of lessons, training sessions, and maintenance tasks, all while fostering a positive team atmosphere. Your leadership will directly contribute to delivering exceptional riding experiences and maintaining the highest standards of safety and care.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily yard operations, including overseeing horse care, turnout, and stable management activities
• Supervise and coordinate staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for all riding sessions and yard duties
• Oversee maintenance of yard facilities, including stables, fencing, arenas, and equipment to ensure safety and functionality
• Implement and monitor safety protocols for riders, staff, and horses to uphold industry standards
• Collaborate with instructors to organize lessons, training programs, and special events efficiently
• Maintain detailed records of horse health, maintenance schedules, and operational logs using schematics and management software
• Being a pony club centre our focus on providing education and experiences to young riders.

Qualifications

• Proven management experience in a similar equestrian or outdoor activity setting with supervising responsibilities
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team Mechanical
• Excellent communication skills in English to ensure clear instructions and team coordination.
