Rigger foreman / Riggers

TSF Engineering Services is an established mechanical engineering company specializing in Heat Exchangers, Fin Fan Air Coolers, Pressure Vessels, Storage Tanks, Steel Structures, fabrication and industrial maintenance services.

We are looking for experienced and safety-conscious professionals to join our team for industrial and plant maintenance projects.

1. RIGGERS SUPERVISOR

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all rigging, lifting and material handling activities at site.
• Plan and execute lifting operations for heavy equipment, machinery and components.
• Supervise riggers, signalmen and lifting crews during site activities.
• Ensure proper selection and use of slings, shackles, lifting beams, chain blocks, wire ropes and other lifting accessories.
• Inspect lifting gear before use and ensure defective equipment is removed from service.
• Ensure lifting operations are carried out in accordance with approved lifting plans, method statements and risk assessments.
• Coordinate with crane operators, site supervisors, mechanical teams and HSE personnel.
• Ensure proper signaling and communication between riggers and crane operators.
• Guide safe positioning, alignment, shifting, loading and unloading of heavy equipment.
• Ensure compliance with site safety rules, lifting procedures and applicable HSE requirements.
• Monitor ground conditions, lifting zones, exclusion zones and working clearances.
• Stop unsafe lifting operations and immediately report hazards or incidents.
• Maintain proper records of lifting equipment inspections and site activities.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in industrial rigging and lifting operations.
• Previous experience as a Rigger Supervisor / Rigging Foreman in refinery, petrochemical, power plant or heavy engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of lifting and rigging practices.
• Ability to understand lifting plans and basic technical drawings.
• Knowledge of lifting accessories, safe working loads (SWL/WLL) and proper rigging techniques.
• Good knowledge of industrial HSE requirements.
• Refinery / petrochemical shutdown experience will be preferred.

2. RIGGERSJob Responsibilities

• Perform safe rigging and lifting activities under the direction of the Rigger Supervisor.
• Rig, shift, lift and position heavy mechanical equipment and components.
• Assist with installation, dismantling and maintenance of industrial equipment.
• Properly use slings, shackles, wire ropes, chain blocks, lever hoists and other lifting accessories.
• Assist crane operators through proper hand signals and communication.
• Carry out loading, unloading, shifting and positioning of equipment.
• Assist mechanical teams during heat exchanger bundle removal/installation, equipment dismantling and assembly.
• Inspect lifting accessories before use and report any damaged or defective equipment.
• Maintain safe working areas and comply with site HSE procedures.
• Follow lifting plans, toolbox talks, method statements and instructions from supervisors.

Required Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant rigging experience.
• Experience in industrial construction, maintenance or shutdown projects.
• Practical knowledge of rigging and lifting equipment.
• Ability to identify and use appropriate lifting accessories.
• Good understanding of basic hand signals and communication with crane operators.
• Physically fit and capable of working in industrial environments.
• Refinery, petrochemical or power plant experience will be an advantage.

Pay: Rs30,000.00 - Rs45,000.00 per month
