About the Role

We are seeking a Rights & Licensing Manager to oversee rights management, licensing agreements, and commercial partnerships. The role will work closely with internal teams, content owners, partners, and external stakeholders to manage licensing activities and support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage rights and licensing agreements from negotiation through renewal.
• Review and coordinate licensing terms, contracts, and usage rights.
• Maintain accurate records of rights, licenses, territories, and contractual obligations.
• Identify and evaluate licensing and commercial partnership opportunities.
• Coordinate with legal, finance, commercial, and operational teams.
• Monitor contract timelines, renewals, payments, and compliance requirements.
• Support negotiations with rights holders, licensors, licensees, and business partners.
• Prepare reports on licensing activities, revenue, agreements, and performance.
• Monitor industry developments and licensing market trends.
• Ensure licensing activities comply with contractual and applicable legal requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Media, Communications, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in rights management, licensing, contracts, media, publishing, entertainment, or a related industry.
• Strong contract review, negotiation, and commercial skills.
• Good understanding of intellectual property and licensing principles.
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant business systems.
• Experience managing licensing portfolios or commercial agreements is an advantage.
