Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Rights & Licensing Manager to oversee intellectual property rights, licensing agreements, and content usage permissions. The successful candidate will manage licensing negotiations, maintain accurate rights records, coordinate with internal teams and external partners, and help ensure the appropriate use of copyrighted materials across print and digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements

• Manage rights acquisition, licensing agreements, renewals, and usage permissions.
• Negotiate licensing terms with authors, publishers, content owners, and business partners.
• Review contracts and monitor compliance with agreed licensing conditions.
• Maintain accurate records of intellectual property rights and licensing arrangements.
• Identify opportunities to expand licensing partnerships and content distribution.
• Coordinate with legal, editorial, marketing, and commercial teams.
• Track royalty payments, licensing fees, and contract deadlines.
• Prepare reports on licensing activities, costs, and revenue.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Law, Publishing, Media, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in rights management, licensing, publishing, or intellectual property administration.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and contract management skills.
• Good understanding of copyright, licensing practices, and intellectual property principles.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant contract or rights management systems.
