Class C Rigid Delivery Driver (Multi-Drop)

Critical Requirements (Apply Only If You Meet These)

• Licence & Certification: Valid Category C Driving Licence, up-to-date CPC Certificate, and active Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Multi-Drop & COD Experience: Proven experience in local multi-drop food distribution, cash handling (Cash on Delivery), and invoice docket reconciliation.
• RSA & Compliance Knowledge: Thorough understanding of RSA driver hours rules, vehicle walk-around checks, and digital tachograph management.
• Location: Ability to commute daily to Greenogue Business Park (D24 YX77).

Key Responsibilities

• Multi-Drop Delivery: Transport pre-ordered food products to regional customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner.
• Cash Collection & Reconciliation: Securely collect COD payments/post-dated cheques, reconcile dockets against monies received, and complete daily end-of-day bag returns.
• Vehicle & Fleet Maintenance: Perform daily RSA-mandated vehicle walk-around checks, maintain cleanliness, and immediately report any mechanical or refrigeration faults.
• Load & Route Planning: Verify truck loading safety prior to departure and plan routes to meet customer delivery windows.
• Quality & Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to HACCP, food safety regulations, company PPE policy, and road transport legislation.

Skills & Competencies Required

• Excellent customer service, communication, and basic numerical skills for cash collection.
• Professional driving record with a focus on road safety and defensive driving.
• Strong attention to detail for managing delivery paperwork and daily logs.
