Risk Analyst SME

Job Purpose

We are looking for an experienced Risk Analyst SME & Emerging Corporates to evaluate the creditworthiness of SME clients, conduct deep financial analysis, and ensure strong portfolio health while driving responsible lending growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Evaluation: Conduct joint field visits with Business Development Managers to assess prospective client operations and business models.
• Credit Assessment: Prepare high-quality Credit Approval Memorandums (CAM) detailing business model viability, KYC, and industry-specific working capital risks.
• Underwriting & Risk Mitigation: Evaluate company balance sheets and propose structured risk mitigants to ensure safe lending.
• Portfolio Monitoring: Oversee post-disbursal document perfection, manage exception clearances, and assist in collection tracking to maintain low NPA levels.

Key Requirements

• Education: CA, ICWA, or MBA in Finance.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in SME credit underwriting within an NBFC or commercial bank.
• Skills: Strong balance sheet analysis, deep understanding of SME working capital cycles, and networking with peer risk teams
