Job Description:
Participate in the maintenance and operation of the Customer Due Diligence (CDD) policy suite for applicable Fourth services.

• Maintain the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/Anti Money Laundering Customer Due Diligence records across all applicable financial products.

• Monitor and review the Know Your Customer (KYC) and Know Your Business (KYB) onboarding determinations, ensuring completeness, auditability, and consistency.

• Monitor and review the denial classification framework and audit defense processes for all adverse onboarding decisions

• Support regulatory readiness efforts, including upcoming AML obligations related to UK Payroll (e.g., His Majesty's Revenue and Customs ASA registration)

Risk Management & Customer Due Diligence

• Perform risk-based onboarding determinations for all new Fuego EWA and Fuego TPO customers using established framework, policies, and procedures.

• Conduct beneficial ownership investigations and verification (KYB) for higher-risk or enhanced due diligence customers.

• Apply risk-based customer classification methodologies with clear, documented rationale.

• Manage ongoing customer risk monitoring and periodic review frameworks.

• Perform prohibited business model screening and assess service eligibility for prospective customers.

• Coordinate escalation workflows for credit-based eligibility decisions and complex risk scenarios.

Fraud & Financial Crime Operations

• Act as an escalation point for fraud and ACH risk management across Fuego and Payroll product lines.

• Conduct identity and business authenticity assessments during onboarding and investigations.

• Review customer-submitted documentation for authenticity, consistency, and fraud indicators.

• Participate in fraud risk investigations arising during customer due diligence and lifecycle monitoring.

• Manage payroll fraud-related incidents, including investigation, escalation, and resolution.

• Partner with internal stakeholders to identify emerging fraud trends and strengthen controls.

Non-negotiable skills and requirements:

• 2–4 years experience in GRC, AML/BSA compliance, fraud risk, or financial crimes (fintech, payments, or financial services)
• Strong analytical and investigative skills
• Experience with KYC/KYB, CDD/EDD, and AML regulations (U.S. exposure required; UK is a plus)
• Experience handling customer due diligence or fraud risk programs
• Ability to make risk-based decisions with limited information and properly document the reasoning
• Strong attention to detail with audit-ready documentation mindset
• Good stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination
• Ability to work independently and own critical processes/programs

Preferred:

• Experience with ACH/payment risk, payroll systems, or Earned Wage Access (EWA) products
• Exposure to UK AML/regulatory frameworks
• Experience supporting audits, regulatory exams, or compliance reviews
• Experience in policy writing or developing internal controls/procedures
• Understanding of balancing risk mitigation with business operations (not slowing the business unnecessarily)
