Risk Assessment Specialist - McKinley

Duties and Responsibilities:

Intake Verification & Triage:

Continuously monitor inbound ticketing queues and Tier-1 helpdesk channels. Review incoming business requests for correctness, manually identifying and flagging incomplete fields or missing validation documents.

Questionnaire Dispatch & Follow-up:

Route and dispatch standard Vendor Compliance Questionnaires (e.g., VCQ, VAQ) programmatically through the provided ticketing systems. Issue standard follow-up reminders to vendors and provide queue updates to internal Business Requestors using approved message templates.

Taxonomy Matching & Logging:

Review completed vendor questionnaires and supporting compliance artifacts to identify standard risks based on predefined guidelines (e.g., restricted data processing locations, standard data handling profiles). Log risks and operational metadata using copy-paste risk taxonomies.

Remediation Facilitation & Routing:

Route standard identified risks to designated internal business owners via templated messaging to trigger risk acceptance protocols. Escalate complex, ambiguous, or non-standard findings directly to the internal core team.

Standardized Approvals & Tracking:

Execute standardized vendor approvals or rejections strictly following the rules defined in the team SOPs, ensuring transparency and real-time visibility into queue progression.

General Inbox / Query Management:

Act as the first line of defense for the team inbox or Lark channels, answering basic vendor or business requestor questions (e.g., re-sending questionnaires, basic clarifications) using approved templated responses.

Basic Reporting Maintenance:

Maintain up-to-date tracking in the designated TPRM systems, ensuring all ticket statuses are accurate.

Re-assessment Execution:

Process periodic or trigger-based on requests.
