Risk Associate

Your Mission

The purpose of this role is to contribute to the strengthening of the organization’s overall risk governance and control environment through active involvement in credit, operational, and compliance risk management initiatives alongside senior risk management.

Once You’re Here, You Will Be:

• Identify, record, and monitor internal and external risk events
• Support senior management in conducting risk assessments and overseeing ongoing risk monitoring activities across key operational areas.
• Conduct regular analysis of credit portfolio risk (e.g., over-indebtedness, portfolio quality)
• Monitor and follow up on operational risk incidents and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented
• Track compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders across Operations, Product, and Digital functions to support the timely resolution and mitigation of risk matters.
• Escalate critical risk incidents to senior risk officer and manager

Reporting & Documentation

• Support preparation of monthly risk committee meeting covering credit, operational, and compliance areas
• Support preparation of monthly reports and dashboards
• Conduct ad hoc risk analysis as requested by management or other departments

System, Process & Policy Support and stakeholder coordination

• Support implementation of new systems, policies, and risk frameworks
• Support internal audits and regulatory inspections
• Collaborate with operations, product, and digital teams to improve processes
• Contribute to development of risk tools and controls

Must-Haves:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration/management/economics/accounting

• Must have at least 3 

  years of working experience in risk management or similar responsibility

• Attention to details

• Good analytical skills

• Proficient in Microsoft office applications

• Ability to work with large dataset (e.g., Excel advanced functions, Power BI)

• Strong collaboration skills

• Ability to work under pressure

• Proficient in English writing and communication
