Risk Control and Compliance Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and monitoring of risk and control frameworks to ensure business activities adhere to internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in conducting periodic risk assessments, control reviews, and departmental health checks to identify potential risks and strengthen operational controls.
• Participate in key risk management initiatives, including Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA), Internal Control Assessments (ICA), and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) exercises.
• Help foster a strong risk and compliance culture by promoting awareness of control requirements and supporting compliance-related training initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to ensure effective risk mitigation and compliance with governance standards.
• Provide support during internal and external audits, regulatory reviews, and remediation activities where required.
• Monitor and escalate potential control gaps, operational risks, and compliance issues in a timely manner.
• Assist the Business Risk Control & Compliance Lead in maintaining robust governance processes and ensuring alignment with the Bank's risk management framework.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience within banking, financial services, risk management, compliance, or operational control functions.
• Good understanding of banking operations, risk management principles, internal controls, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in English and Chinese, both written and spoken.
