We are building our Risk Control team from the ground up and looking for an experienced Risk Control Team Leader who can independently lead a team, identify suspicious activities, and establish effective risk detection and prevention procedures.

Key Responsibilities

1. Team Leadership: Build and manage the Risk Control team, overseeing the identification of suspicious accounts and fraudulent activities.

2. Risk Detection & Prevention: Develop and continuously improve risk detection rules, case databases, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and account relationship monitoring systems.

3. High-Risk Case Management: Review escalated high-risk cases and make final decisions. Escalate cases with insufficient evidence or unresolved concerns rather than approving them without proper verification.

4. Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with Customer Service, Finance, and Technical teams to investigate and resolve risk-related incidents.

5. Risk Control System Improvement: Identify emerging fraud patterns and translate findings into actionable system and product improvement requirements.

Job Requirements

* Minimum 3 years of experience in fraud prevention, risk management, anti-cheating, anti-money laundering (AML), or e-commerce risk control.

* At least 1 year of proven team management experience in an actual supervisory or leadership role.

* Experience building or improving risk detection procedures, case databases, and SOPs.

* Near-native Mandarin Chinese proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing is required, as Mandarin is the primary language for internal communication.

* Bachelor’s degree or above. A background in Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Statistics is preferred.

* Basic SQL querying skills and proficiency in Excel, including PivotTables and anomaly detection.

* Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills.

* Detail-oriented, responsible, ethical, and capable of working independently.

* Willing to be based in Dubai and comfortable working in a multicultural environment.

Candidates with experience in fraud prevention, payment risk, credit risk, e-commerce fraud detection, gaming, fintech, or cross-border e-commerce are welcome to apply.

Applicants are not required to bring an existing risk control team or ready-made risk management system. However, proven experience leading a team and implementing risk control processes is essential.

Preferred Qualifications

* Risk control experience in cryptocurrency exchanges.

* Experience in gaming-related anti-cheating or payment risk management.

* Familiarity with blockchain explorers such as PolygonScan or Etherscan.

* AML, fraud prevention, or KYC certifications or relevant project experience.

* Knowledge of Python, R, or other data analysis tools, with the ability to write basic detection rules or scripts.

Salary & Benefits

* Probation Salary: USD 1,500/month (1-month probation period).

* Salary After Probation: Starting from USD 1,800/month.

* KPI Performance Bonus: Up to USD 300/month.
