Risk Control VP / Director

About the role

This role involves evaluating projects, products, and transaction structures through independent risk control review, monitoring related risks, and driving optimization and closed-loop processes. You will lead portfolio risk monitoring, monitor market indicators, conduct stress testing, and report to the Investment Committee on a regular basis. You will develop and continuously optimize risk management standards, methodologies, and tools, and drive the systematization of risk control tools. You will build and improve a comprehensive risk management framework and control mechanisms, and coordinate with relevant departments to carry out risk management work.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate projects, products, and transaction structures through independent risk control review
• Monitor related risks and drive optimization and closed-loop processes
• Lead portfolio risk monitoring and monitor market indicators
• Conduct stress testing and report to the Investment Committee on a regular basis
• Develop and continuously optimize risk management standards, methodologies, and tools
• Drive the systematization of risk control tools
• Build and improve a comprehensive risk management framework and control mechanisms
• Coordinate with relevant departments to carry out risk management work

About you

• 8+ years of risk control experience in FoF / asset management / family office
• Professional experience in financial analysis and risk identification
• Full-time bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Quantitative Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Law, or related disciplines
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Resilience and adaptability
• Proficiency in Mandarin, English, and Cantonese
• Hong Kong permanent residency or other Hong Kong work permit/visa
• Passing HKSI Paper 1 (Regulatory Knowledge) and Paper 6 (Asset Management), or possessing exemption eligibility, is preferred
