Risk Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Lead and implement risk management and loss prevention programs across diverse business operations
• Conduct site risk assessments and surveys to identify potential hazards and recommend effective risk improvement measures
• Provide expert advice on fire protection systems, safety equipment, and risk engineering solutions aligned with international standards (NFPA/FM Global)
• Investigate incidents and losses, identify root causes, and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Drive safety, loss prevention, emergency response, disaster recovery, and business continuity initiatives
• Deliver technical consultation and training to strengthen operational safety and risk awareness across business units
• Review and enhance Incident Response Plans (IRP), Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP), and Business Continuity Plans (BCP) to ensure compliance and readiness
• Collaborate with business leaders to secure support and execution of risk improvement projects
• Partner with insurance and claims teams to assess risk exposures, optimize insurance placement, and support complex claims handling
• Present and communicate the organization's risk management excellence to insurers and key stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Risk Engineering or Loss Prevention
• Strong knowledge of Fire Risk Engineering, Risk-Based Maintenance (RBM), and safety management
• Experience in Emergency Response, Crisis Management, and Business Continuity Planning (BCP)
• Skilled in developing and delivering risk and safety training programs
• Proven ability to plan and implement risk management initiatives
• Fluent in English with strong communication and presentation skills
