Duties

• Assist in collecting and analyzing large datasets
• Support the development of data models to identify potential risks and improve risk detection processes.
• Conduct statistical analysis and quantitative research to evaluate financial risks and forecast cash flow scenarios.
• Contribute to fraud prevention efforts by analyzing patterns and detecting anomalies through financial software tools.
• Help prepare detailed risk reports, summaries, and presentations for internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with underwriting teams to assess creditworthiness and support financial analysis initiatives.
• Participate in risk analysis meetings, providing insights based on quantitative research and financial concepts.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Mathematics or related field with a strong interest in risk management.
• Demonstrated knowledge of statistical analysis, statistics, and financial concepts such as credit analysis and cash flow analysis.
• Experience with data collection, data mining, and data modeling techniques; familiarity with VBA or other automation tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets using financial software and quantitative analysis methods.
• Excellent written communication skills for preparing clear financial report writing and documentation.
• Basic understanding of banking operations, underwriting processes, and financial services industry standards.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Pay: $57,485.89 - $69,230.32 per year
