Risk Management (Management Level)

About the role

We are seeking a talented Risk Management professional to join our team in Bangkok as a Risk Management (Management Level) at ÆON Thana Sinsap (Thailand) Public Co., Ltd. This is a full-time position based in Khlong Toei, Bangkok. In this strategic role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing and managing the company's risk exposure, ensuring robust risk management practices are in place to support the overall objectives of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive risk management frameworks, policies and procedures to identify, assess, mitigate and monitor risks across the organization
• Conduct risk assessments, analyse data and generate reports to provide senior management with timely and accurate information on the company's risk profile
• Collaborate cross-functionally to raise risk awareness, embed a risk-conscious culture and ensure effective risk management practices are adopted across the business
• Advise on risk-related matters and recommend appropriate controls and strategies to manage identified risks
• Monitor and review the effectiveness of risk management activities, identifying areas for improvement and driving continuous enhancement
• Provide training and guidance to staff on risk management principles and best practices
• Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, guidelines and emerging risk trends to ensure the company's risk management approach remains robust and compliant

Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in risk management, preferably within the banking or financial services industry
• Strong understanding of risk management principles, frameworks and best practices
• Proficiency in risk identification, assessment, monitoring and reporting
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
• Skilled in developing and implementing risk management strategies and policies
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities to influence and drive change
• Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CRM, CISA, CISM) would be an advantage
