Manager – Risk & Controls | India

We are hiring a Manager – Risk & Controls in India to identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate organisational risks while strengthening the effectiveness of internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments across financial, operational, and compliance areas.
• Evaluate the design and effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements.
• Design and implement controls to address identified risks and regulatory requirements.
• Lead internal control testing, including scoping, execution, documentation, and reporting.
• Develop and execute control testing plans and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior risk analysts and team members.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and other cross-functional teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in Controls Management and Controls Self-Assessment.
• Strong knowledge of risk and controls management frameworks, methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in risk and controls management software/tools.
• Excellent verbal, written, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in the Banking & Finance industry is essential.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CRA, CRMP, or equivalent.
• Understanding of at least one of the following:
• Corporate & Institutional Banking, including Financial Markets
• Transaction Banking
• Credit Risk Monitoring
