What You'll Do

As a Risk Management Representative, you'll help municipal clients identify, assess, and mitigate risk while supporting effective safety and loss prevention programs.

In this role, you will:

✅ Analyze claim trends, loss data, and root causes to identify opportunities for improvement

✅ Develop and present strategic risk management recommendations to municipal leaders and department heads

✅ Conduct on-site assessments of property, liability, fleet, and workers' compensation exposures

✅ Assist municipalities with implementing safety initiatives, policies, and best practices

✅ Deliver engaging training programs, workshops, and safety meetings

✅ Stay ahead of emerging risks and industry trends, helping to develop new resources and educational programs

✅ Build strong relationships with clients and collaborate with underwriting and marketing teams to support member success

✅ Conduct field-based coaching and training for municipal personnel

What Makes You a Great Fit

You are naturally curious, solutions-oriented, and enjoy helping organizations solve complex challenges. You can translate data into actionable insights, build trust quickly, and communicate confidently with stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in risk management, safety, loss control, or related fields
• Experience working with municipalities or public-sector organizations is highly desirable
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional designations such as ARM, CSP, ASP, or ALCM are a plus
• Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, FM, and UL standards
• Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills
• Certifications in OSHA Compliance, First Aid/CPR Instruction, or Defensive Driving are desirable
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout Central and Western Massachusetts
