Risk Management Specialist

About the role

This role involves managing and implementing risk management policies, procedures, and assessments across all business units of the company. You will identify and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of business processes and controls, prepare policies and standard operating procedures, and provide guidance to process owners in developing risk registers.

Key responsibilities

• Update risk management policies and procedures
• Conduct risk assessments across all business units
• Identify and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of business processes and controls
• Prepare policies, SOPs, and periodic risk management reports
• Provide guidance to business process owners in developing risk registers
• Support external audits for document compliance requirements
• Prepare data and information as needed

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Physics
• Must hold a professional risk management certification such as CRMO, CRMP, or ERMCP
• Minimum 5 years of experience in risk management work (experience in consulting or mining industry is an advantage)
• Understanding of ISO 31000 application, Compliance Risk processes, ESG Risk, and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Understanding of smelting and refinery business processes
• Ability to design, analyse, and monitor control systems for all company business processes
• Strong time management, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Indonesian and English communication (Mandarin language proficiency is an advantage)
• Willing to undertake business travel to site with frequency of 6-8 times per year
