Risk Manager

Introduction

Trend Up Investment (HK) Limited is a SFC Licensed Asset Manager with VA9 uplift. Our team consists of experienced investment experts in both traditional market and virtual assets. We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Manager with deep expertise in risk management in joining our Team.

Job Description:

• Develop and implement the risk management framework for the company.
• Perform risk management functions for investments and portfolios with stocks, futures, options, and virtual assets.
• Perform scenario analysis and stress testing for the portfolios.
• Work with the IT team to integrate the crypto exchange and traditional trading platform APIs for instantly monitoring the portfolio performance and risk indicators and generating necessary alerts.
• Ensure investment activities comply with regulatory guidelines and investment mandates.
• Identify, measure, monitor and report risks including market risk, operational risk, and liquidity risk.
• Perform pre-trade and post-trade portfolio review.
• Investigate compliance breaches, conduct thorough analyses, and propose disciplinary actions or preventive measures.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging risks, and best practices in compliance and risk management.
• Assist in preparing risk management reports to senior management
• Assist in setting relevant risk guideline and limits.
• Act as the MIC of risk management of the company.
• Perform ad hoc tasks as and when required.

Requirements:

• Degree holder or above in Risk Management, Finance, Accounting or related discipline. FRM is highly preferred.
• At least 5 years of risk management experience gained from sizable SFC RA 4,9 licensed corporation. Those also with SFC RA1 experience is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience in Python or other programming language is preferred.
• Good command of written and spoken English. Fluent Mandarin is a MUST.
• Strong risk management skills and an ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
• A good team player with a strong sense of responsibility, good interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Immediately available is preferred.
