Risk Manager

Edenbrook are partnering with a Lloyd's specialty insurer on a Risk Manager hire.

Key Responsibilities

• Help shape and embed the organisation’s approach to risk, ensuring effective frameworks, policies and controls are in place across the business.
• Work with teams and senior stakeholders to identify, assess and manage key risks, challenging where appropriate and promoting a strong risk-aware culture.
• Provide meaningful insight through risk data, KRIs, management information and reporting, highlighting emerging risks and areas requiring attention.
• Support the management of risk events, including investigations, root cause analysis, remediation and lessons learned, alongside stress and scenario testing.
• Contribute to wider risk and regulatory activities, including ORSA, Internal Model governance and ongoing compliance with Lloyd’s, PRA and Solvency UK requirements.

Skills & Experience

• 5+ years’ experience in a Risk Management role within the Lloyd’s or London Market insurance sector.
• Solid knowledge of enterprise risk, governance, controls and regulatory requirements, including ORSA, Internal Models and Solvency UK.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, with experience interpreting risk information and turning it into clear, practical recommendations.
