Risk Manager

For our client, we are seeking a Risk Manager to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space.

This role will lead risk identification, mitigation, and reporting efforts across complex projects, with a strong focus on project controls and operational execution. You will partner closely with project managers, stakeholders, and organizational leaders to strengthen decision-making, resolve bottlenecks, and keep work moving through the full project lifecycle. The position also requires benchmarking risk practices and using analytical tools to improve consistency, visibility, and performance.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $102,700 – $171,100 annually

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary expert for the SAFRAN Risk Tool
• Lead risk and opportunity identification and mitigation throughout projects
• Demonstrate effective leadership and communication across organizational levels
• Ensure cross-functional alignment with project management and stakeholders
• Manage risk reporting and performance tracking
• Benchmark risk management processes to identify best practices
• Support leaders in problem-solving to resolve operational bottlenecks

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science from an accredited university
• Proficient in risk analysis tools, especially SAFRAN
• 6-8 years of relevant work experience in the nuclear or power industries
• 3 years of experience specifically in risk management or project controls
• Solid grasp of project risk management principles and lifecycle
• Ability to manage complex issues/projects concurrently
• Willingness to travel 20% of the time
